Real home: bathroom ideas

Bathroom painting is painful and rather annoying. Unlike straight walls, there are so many nooks and crannies in a bathroom. I worked hard to get everything just right. The color: blue. The decor: black and white.

I love the floor here, but let's be real, that's a big project.


I love the look, but I know the sink is not conducive to face washing. Water will spill everywhere. I like the yellow cause I haven't planned yellow anywhere else in this home.

But, can I use one of these in my bathroom as well as the dining room? Since my dining room is pink and probably grey, I think I'll pick the blue for the restroom.



Is there a design you love but know it's not practical?
What's the least practical thing you own just because it's gorgeous?

    Those carts look totally cool. I would love to have one for my laundry area!

    I can't think of anything that I own that is unpractical. I do have a list of things that I want that are unpractical but wonderful, I have just never actually made the purchase.
