Lately, I've had nostalgia of the summer of 2010. I was doing well then. I spent the summer at the beach with my roommate and friend.
And it wasn't just the beach as I know it now that I live "at the beach." This was the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We drove 7 hours there, down the mountain, through the Piedmont, and on flat, open road. I saw the house from Nights in Rodanthe everyday. I was living in a Nicholas Sparks romance novel without the romance.
And lately, I've been channeling that person and that place with marvelous food and fun.
I ate tons of peanut butter sandwiches. I ate one yesterday. Even bought the same bread.

I had more of that Only 8 yogurt.

And just because, I ate eggs. All of the egg too. This is more from post-beach life, but I thought I'd share.
Most importantly, I went to a bonfire after work last night. I haven't been to a bonfire at the beach since high school! I interacted with hilarious strangers and though I didn't have enough time to really get to click, getting out was good for me. Well, duh.
Now off to kick off a marvelous week with TurboKick.
Thanks for joining in! I have to say frozen yogurt is MARVELOUS!

I was in Salvo. The towns are teeny. It's secluded but that just DID something for me. Totally relaxing. Super hot.
