My first Treat Yourself Tuesday

http://www.olivesnwine.com/

This is my first ever Treat Yourself Tuesday post! Thanks Becky for hosting - she also inspired this more fashion-centered post.

NEW ANIMAL PRINT FLATS I definitely needed some new all-purpose flats - my old ones from Aldo were 5 years old! I don't have a full-length mirror...

CLARKS MOCASSINS Mom bought them at Ross for just $12.99. They're stuck on my feet; I even want to wear them into bed.

Trader Joe's CHEESE TRAY is only $4.99!

It went perfect with my new nightly habit of WINE and wrapping presents/stocking stuffers.

I picked up these 2 wrapping papers from Marshalls. I decided to get multi seasonal prints.

Any cool craft ideas?

Oh, How Pinteresting: A new Jason Statham & the best DIY

We should all have a morning ritual with coffee or tea.

Caramel apple & grilled cheese - what an idea!

This would be too much makeup for me, but it's pretty.

Love the simplicity of a jersey dress.

Tom Hardy is the new Jason Statham

I don't like many workout pins, but these are a couple of good ones. Others are wacky/crazed!

I'm always looking for upper body workouts.

Oh How Pinteresting: Keepin' it short & sweet

This week's pins are lacking. Maybe I haven't found too many good ones, but the ones I found are fantastic!

This is my dream kitchen. I love the colors and I love the dining space. Green + blue + orange are my dream kitchen colors!

The outside - wouldn't kick this to the curb.

More realistic but still cute.

And if I ever lived in New York, I'd have to live like this.

If I get time, I need to fix my fingernails and do this. Maybe Thursday.

More lifting to look like this...

I'm adding a few from my tumblr too!

I love the different shapes. So real.

Chocolate tart & homebrews + bracelet making extravaganza

Only 5 hours of sleep later and...

I made a simple breakfast: a gluten-free waffle with a fried egg.
Then I went shopping for bracelet making extravaganza.

Sadly, our local Michaels' is under construction and has a lackluster selection. They did have Unreal chocolates that I just heard about!

They taste a little different, but I like them more.

After trips to Michaels then JoAnn's and finally Surf City Beads, I got a good selection to start with.

The result of my bracelet making extravaganza was...

One bracelet for me using the Honestly WTF tutorial...

And a wire "bracelet" for my Fair boy-friend. He loved it!

I also picked up 50 cent notecards.

I didn't have much time till work.

When I got to work, there was a giant tray of Blackmarket Bakery goodies. The baker came to demo and I downed a mini tart before taking some home.

The Long Beach Homebrewers were on their way out, but I chatted them into giving me some of their beer. They snuck it to me in 2 liter bottles. :)

Tonight's dinner was a caprese quinoa salad. Balsamic vinegar is somewhat expensive so I just rolled with my first Walden Farms dressing, balsamic vinaigrette, with 0 calories.

I wasn't drinking on the job, but I totally forgot to move a table for the morning crew. Oops. We get so preoccupied on Saturday nights with the crowds!

What crafts are you trying out? Friendship bracelets are so in right now. :)

Saturday plan: "bracelet making extravaganza"

I was playing with paperclips today and decided that tomorrow will be... a bracelet making extravaganza.

While I'm at it, I might as well do my nails and hair. :)

Work was much better with the musician there tonight, or thus, our sound guy. I am also somewhat in love with the chocolatier yet the two guys look very very different. I'm just glad I am into any guy given my track record and subsequent, screw men attitude.

Work is a whole different animal though. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and hope to keep in touch with everyone despite our age differences. Trying to make friends with the knitting/quilting/scrapbooking/crafts department ain't happening - they're not really that friendly or fun so far.

A few cool links for your weekend:
...and your inspiration, as I take Saturday off from working out. :)

I want to see this movie so bad. It has the ULTIMATE cast.

Interesting and fun necklines.
