MacBook... PRO! (and Meal Plan Monday)

I'm blogging from... my new MacBook Pro.

Before picking up my dad, I went to Gigi Bakery & Cafe in Silver Lake to grab a strawberry tres leches cake and guava and cheese pastries for the fam.

Then I proceeded to wait an hour and a half for my dad in customs. I people watched and can't believe anyone would wear such an outfit:
Popped collar, camo shorts, basketball sneakers, and an ugly tat.
We got back and went to BJ's. It was late so I ate half of the Thai lettuce wraps - they have a calorie count at 357 calories for the whole dish! The rest was lunch today.

I didn't hop into bed until 12:30 A.M. and expected to wake up at 5:30 A.M. Needless to say, I did not wake up and missed my 5K. :( Fortunately, I supported a good cause, particularly CHOC, the hospital my baby cousin was admitted to when they discovered she had bone marrow cancer. They saved her life.

I woke up a couple of times but finally got up to ease into Sunday at 9:30. Dad and I went to the Apple store and quickly decided on the Pro after seeing the price of a 13" MacBook Air.

My dad always packs light to buy new clothes. He brings maybe two changes of clothing and then shops at Marshall's or TJ Maxx.

I had work for a few hours and boy was I tired. I'm still tired. I guess the lack of sleep the past week has finally caught up with me!

Now that I have a snazzy new laptop, I'm looking to jazz up my iPhone with a new cover. Choices, choices... here are two of my favorites.

    Thought to self today: Why am I trying to lift so much? I'm not competing in anything. I'd be happy with a more relaxed routine.

        1. Chocolate mint is good but not better than the peanut butter. They change it up. The worst is strawberry. I hope they come up with new flavors though!
