"The Avengers" with dad

Something strange happens after I see a movie in theaters: I start to think it's much more real. This doesn't happen when I watch a movie at home though.

I'm dreaming of flying from buildings, the dreaminess of Chris Evans' pre-WWII charm, Scarlett Johansson, Thor, and the coolness of Hawkeye. *Sorry Iron Man and Hulk, you guys are a little too old for me and not George Clooney-esque enough.

I've always liked Scarlett but not Chris (either one). I liked both of them in this movie.

The movie broke the weekend box office record with a great percentage over "The Deathly Hallows." Two and a half hours is a long time, but it went by fast.

The only part that aggravated me was the ending - I wanted the bad guys to lose faster yet they just kept coming back.

What's the last movie you saw in theaters? I don't go often but dad wanted to go.
Do you feel like you're part of the movie sometimes? Maybe that's a sign of a good movie.

  1. I have the same problem if the movie is really good. I start dreaming about being in it and then wake up super confused about which reality I'm in! I can't wait to go see The Avengers!
